How to relist a cancelled order?
This might sound obvious but the Amazon Help topics are a bit useless… I have searched ‘Relist Cancelled Order’ - ‘Relist Item’ and all sorts of things and come up with nothing…
A buyer has placed an order with me and then cancelled the order (no notification off Amazon!)
I have found it and realised it is not now listed for sale… how do I relist it? There is no option that I can see. I have checked my inventory and this is not listed for sale
Also Amazon - if you are reading this. If a buyer places an order and cancels it some notification would be helpful.
Thanks
Tony

You can just re add it to your inventory. There is no specific relist an item. Change the qty from 0 to 1

There’s something no right about what you’re saying.
A buyer can only cancel the order themselves while the order is pending, ie 30 minutes after the order is placed, longer if there was a payment issue.
After that, the cancellation will be as a cancellation request and only you can cancel it.
When cancelled, the quantity goes back into your inventory automatically and is available for sale again.
Maybe check again?

If it’s fulfilled by amazon sometimes they can cancel orders after it’s already been shipped, and they send a request to the courier to return the item back to them. If it was FBA it’s possible this could have happened and Amazon are still awaiting the couriers return of the item?

HI All, thanks so far, it is definitely cancelled, doesn’t say why. I know it sold because I got a notification of ebay, I use a cross-platform tool. Then I realised it hadn’t shown up in items to post so I went looking for it (a day or so later) and found it in cancelled orders. I checked the inventory on Amazon and none for sale then checked ebay (you would think it would relist there if it had been cancelled on Amazon) but it is not for sale there either… should Amazon not relist the item for sale or add it back to the inventory if the item didn’t sell? Or does this take a while? I don’t want to change the inventory to 1 just for Amazon to try to add the unsold one back to the inventory afterwards and me end up with two (I only have one to sell)… It is fulfilled by me by the way
Thanks

Thanks everyone - it is clearly inconsistent, I will do it manually
