Avalara - comparison with Avask

Hi everyone, I am trying to decide between Avalara and Avask for VAT registration and handling VAT returns in EU marketplaces. Avask’s reviews are really great and Avalara’s reviews kind of scary, however Avask’s price is literally triple compared to Avalara’s. I do not usually opt for the cheapest option but the price difference is significant and I am not even sure if VAT returns are worth this difference. Has anyone used any of the two or both and is able to advise? Many thanks
