Coventry warehouse - BHX8
Out of my 5 shipments in the last 2 months to have “missing” stock, 4 of them have been sent to Coventry (BHX8).
Does anyone have any experience of the items suddenly turning up -whether or not you raised a case, contacted the MD email or otherwise?
Also does anyone have a workaround for avoiding particular warehouses?
I need stock in FBA but im not seriously hesitant.

When you say missing stock, are you getting the message:
Amazon has received your shipment and a discrepancy has been found in one or more of your items.
I don’t think there is any way of choosing which fulfilment centre to send to.
My shipments always seem to go to Coventry BHX8 or Doncaster LBA4 and of the two I personally find Coventry to be much better. Perhaps it’s luck of the draw, but I do find that Coventry consistently check-in faster.

One thing you could do is go all the way through the send to Amazon workflow and if you get the BHX8 centre void the shipping charges and start again. I don’t know how likely that is to generate a different centre next time around though. Also would be a faff to redo the workflow

Every month,regularly get items suddenly appearing in inventory that I have not sold for months sometimes over 12 months.

We send to BHX8 most weeks, although we are fairly new to FBA doing 95% FBM, however we have not experienced any problems to date with them.

Coventry I had 5 items missing from one box. I have sent 2 boxes to Doncaster few days ago and have proof of delivery for both but on the shipment queue only 1 is showing so waiting to hear about that also. I have only ever sent 6 boxes in total as i am still very new. So for me the success rate is pretty grim

We have also experienced missing stock at BHX8 - Sent 5 boxes at the beginning of August, one has been checked in.
Sent 5 boxes again at the end of August, again only one has been checked in despite courier confirming delivery of all 5.

BHX8 is a new fulfillment centre at Redditch, about 25 miles west of Coventry. Many sellers won’t have experienced it yet, I suspect, including us. Everything we have sent in the last year (and we are 100% FBA) has gone to BHX4 and the service has been outstanding.
