Account has been deactivated

Hi,

My account have been deactivated a long time ago Jan 2020 for reason I never understood and never since I have been able to spoke with a human being to help me sort this out. All the time I tried to contact or provide information I was receiving back a generic email.

Looking around at similar post here, bellow is what I think the original deactivation email dated
29 Jan 2020:
" Hello Seller, Your Amazon.co.uk Seller account has been deactivated. Your listings have been removed. Funds will not be transferred to you but will be held in your account while we work with you to address this issue. Please ship any open orders to avoid further impact to your account. Why is this happening? Your Amazon seller account has been deactivated in accordance with section 3 of Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement. We found that your account is related to another account that may not be used to sell on the site. As a result, you may no longer sell on Amazon.co.uk through this account. Due to the nature of our business, we do not provide details on our investigation methods."

I did had before another account with another business that I had to close and I think that is when the problems started to happen. I did try to explain that they were different entities and I had to close the other business but to no avail.

At this point I would like to know if it is any chance to have this account activated or at least deleted since it has been more than 2 years since lastly used…

I would appreciate if an amazon employee has a look at this as it has been enough headache dealing with this.

You’ll need to reactivate this first account in order for the 2nd account to also be reactivated

What were your problems with the 1st account ?

Hi,

As I tried to explain, the first account was created on a company where I was cofounder. Because of disagreements with the other director, we then decided to close that company. Meanwhile I created my own new company for which I created the new account which was used for some time in good order before being suspended.

I can’t remember exactly the timeline but I do recall asking to delete the first account and I think they rejected and suspended it which blocks you from doing anything but by that time the old company was already in the procedure to be closed. That company is long close now so I am not sure how things would work.

Hi,

I think I tried to close it but I can’t remember what the situation was, I think they didn’t approved the closure for some reason and afterwards they suspended it but by that time the company was dissolved or something like that…
I am not sure I will be able to access the old account but I didn’t do anything malicious with it…

In order to reactivate your selling account, you will have to first reactivate the account to which your selling account is related to and appeal from their account, once that appeal has been accepted then submit the same appeal from your account by clicking here along with the name of reactivated related account and the date of reactivation.

In case you strongly believe that this action has been taken in error, you would need to submit a strong plan of action through the ‘Submit New information’ button on the Account Health Dashboard addressing your issue along with any of the supporting documents such as sales deed, purchase agreement, or business transfer agreement, contract termination, etc.

I don’t understand how would it be possible to activate the first account if the company is closed. No one replies to me to what documents would be satisfactory for them to delete the first account, which I think it should be the case since the company is closed…

I have to say the way amazon handles this is extremely poor and in fact I felt it all the time, great service for customers on the shoulders of sellers and 0 support for sellers. I do understand these are intended for abusers but I don’t think I fit into that category. I always tried my best to keep good business standards. Everything is so generic and confusing…

As your account has been deactivated due to being related to another account. Can you please let us know when was the last time you have submitted an appeal and what was the information submitted in the appeal?

In this case, please provide a detailed explanation about the related account and what was the reason for the closure of the company.

In addition to that, please provide a supporting document that proves that the company has been closed.

If you have already submitted an appeal, then I would request you to wait so that the team can review your appeal and get back to you with an update. Please keep an eye on your performance notifications and email associated with your selling account.

Thank you for your reply.

I think it will be useful to state which account you are referring to because it becomes very confusing.

So, account 1 haven’t been accessing since the company 1 was closed probably and that is about 3 years now.
Account 2 I submitted just a message on 29 of March (before posting here) hoping to get a human reply…

This acctount has been suspended for a very long time (a few years now) for
a reason which I never understood and I couldn't get help. Whenever I was
contacting I was always recieving the same message.
Would it be possible to know if this account can be brought to a usable state
again otherwise I would like know how to delete it.

In previous submissions I did try to provide information about both companies and what happened.
The reason to close the other company as said previously was purely because of disagreements with the co-founder. I could provide that the previous company was closed.

I am quite scared by your link to be honest, because it sends to a page to authenticate with a USERNAME and PIN?

I actually got a reply with some insight, they actually said it is related to an account for the same company. It is hard to remember precisely but looking at previous emails I submitted I did mention that I tried to open initially an account for the new company but I have then abandoned because I think I got stuck in the same suspension process and couldn’t figure out what was the problem, thinking I might have made some mistakes when opening it, I then decided to start from fresh and open a new account. In the emails previously sent for activation I mentioned that I did close that account, but maybe it wasn’t closed? This account was never used and never made it to functional state if I recall correctly.

Could you please help guide what could be done in this situation? Ideally I would like to delete that first try of account.
I find it very strange that you can’t delete an account, I also can’t see any way to get hold of all the data is held which I think are mandatory GDPR rules.

I would really appreciate your help on this.

So I hit the wall again.

As much as I tried to explain it keeps coming back with the generic email to activate the first account but how? would that not violate the rules?
Anyhow I did try to access the initial account (which by the way I think I never managed to activate it and as far as I remember I deleted it). Funny enough I get the following after inserting password and OTP: "We don’t have a seller account associated with that email address, but I do have a logout button and I did receive email that a login to the account happened.

@Abella_Amazon There is no callback function, I did try that and it rejects, it says all I can do is to submit appeal…

This is appalling, I still can’t believe how poorly Amazon is treating the sellers… any idea of how to speak with a human being???

I wish I had the strength and power to follow with a lawsuit because there are so many things wrong.

From your post, I understand that you need help with reactivation of your selling account.

Going through your post I understand that your account has been deactivated for being related with another account.

Firstly reactivate any and all accounts that have been enforced for policy violation by submitting one appeal for each enforcement. Please follow the instructions in the Performance Notification that you received for that account.

As you stated above that you are trying to login in to the other account through which your account is related, and facing difficulty. I request you to please share a screenshot of the screen which is reflecting after you login to other account. So that we can assist you accordingly.

As you mentioned that, you had deleted the account but, I would like to inform you that if your account has been deactivated for any violation it cannot be deleted. In order to delete the account first you need reactivate the account
