Not winning the Buy Box
Hi All
Just looking for a bit of advice from the more experienced sellers.
I have just ran a report covering the last 3 months which shows that I currently win the Buy Box on approx 75% of my inventory, however 25% of my items are showing my Buy Box wins at 0%. Is there something I am missing?
I know there are the usual factors which could stop me from winning the Buy Box but …
I have been selling on Amazon for over two years.
I have always matched the lowest price.
I am only competing against other FBM sellers.
I have have never had any defects (so at worst I would be matching the other sellers on performance)
On some ASINs there is only me and another seller on the listing, which means he will get the Buy Box 100% of time and cannot understand why it isnt being shared.
I am running out of ideas as to why this could be happening or how to resolve it.

When I checked those 2 ASINs, you were winning the buy box.
I’m not sure why you would expect to win the buy box 100% of the time. You are competing with other sellers. The random element to buy box allocation means that some of the time you will have the buy box on an ASIN, at other times a competing seller will have it. Even with the 75% of your inventory on which you currently have the buy box, that means you won’t necessarily have the buy box on the same items tomorrow.

I’m having strange happenings with the buybox too. Suddenly, I can only win the buybox if I am about £2 lower than other FBM sellers. It makes no sense, nothing has changed on my account at all.

Just a question, but if you have been selling on Amazon for 2 years, why such a low amount of feedback?
71 for two years is extremely low. Especially considering you have 300+ items and all relatively low value.
I’ve been actually selling on here for two years now and my feedback is considerably higher than that. And I don’t promote feedback in any way.
That could be a lot to do with your winning the buy box or not.
