How do I find my storefront shop page URL?

I want to put my amazon storefront URL onto some promotion material -but have hit a brick wall with regards finding out what it is.

I thought it was amazon.co.uk/shops/ABC

(obviously ABC being my user display name) - but this does not work. I get a page that says the web address is not a functioning page on the site.

So I googled the question and was told I could get it from Settings-Account Info-Business Information

But no - there is no store URL I can see under any of the options.

So I tried Settings-Account Info-Store Info

This has a link for 'Your Seller Profile' - and clicking that just shows me all the country sites I am able to sell on (I only sell on the UK site)

Another googled method told me to :

Navigate to one of your active product listings on the Amazon website. Find the "Sold by" section under the buy box. Click on your Seller Name. On the next page, click the link that says "[Your Seller Name] Storefront"

But there is no [Your Seller Name] Storefront link

There is, however, a sequence of tabs one of which is 'Products' so I click that thinking it will take me to a list of my products which is does but the URL is (well I want to include the link but get told off for using offensive language trying to post with a link even though it is an Amazon web address but it is something like amazon/s?me=A1B3RD1FRZK8FD&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P

Which again is hopeless for me to use in promotion material

I just want a simple URL I can put on promotion/advertising material to direct customers to my amazon store but everything I try leads me nowhere. It cannot be this hard for me to give customers a link so they can go straight to my products/store on Amazon surely?

Yeah, your storefront is that mess of letters & numbers and as far as I'm aware unless you have a specific brand (a quick scan through your store front suggests not?) then you're unable to change this URL to something simpler unfortunately.

An alternative that could maybe work for you depending on what you're trying to do here is set the URL up as a hyperlink so you'd write something like 'visit our store here'. With a hyperlink on the word 'here' that hides the URL mess from customers but is clickable and still brings them to your store.

Thanks for both tips - I did the google search and the top hit took me to my Amazon Storefront - even better the URL at the top was a lot shorter than the one I put in my original post (still complicated but nowhere near as long)

And then yes I did not think of using a QR code - so between the 2 I have an elegant solution, thankyou.

But it still ranks that unless in Brand Registry (which I am unable to access) we do not get our own storefront url. Even Amazon own help files leaves out this information and says we can get our storefront link via Settings, as shown below:

You can view and update your account information in Seller account information, available from Settings > Account info. You can access the following:

Your seller profile (display name, Storefront link, email address, phone number and more)

Thank you for starting this discussion, @Seller_tRuvBEHDedp4q! I'm happy to see that other sellers have jumped in here to provide guidance on accessing your storefront link.

There are typically two types of shareable links you can use, depending on your situation:

Option 1: Your Seller Storefront URL - https://www.amazon.co.uk/shops/YOURSELLER ID

Please note that this URL does not use your display name. It uses your Seller ID (also called your Merchant Token). To find your Seller ID, go to Seller Central > Settings > Account Info > Merchant Token.

Option 2: Create an Amazon Brand Store

If you're enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, you can create a customisable Amazon Store with a cleaner, branded URL - perfect for sharing on promotional materials. To get started, go to Seller Central UK > Storefront > Manage Stores.

Please let me know if this helps! If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

All the best,

Jameson

If you have your own website, I would be promoting that, not Amazon. It's not good to have all your eggs in one volatile basket.

Once customers are on your website, they won't be distracted towards other products and sellers, you have control of your customers, claims, returns, etc. Much less fraud attempts and costs per sale would be a fraction of Amazon fees.

Its impossible for me to be in Brand Registry as I am a reseller only. I buy in goods from various manufacturers and resell on Amazon with their permission. I do not have a registered trademark Therefore the goods I sell do not have any branding relating to myself - which is why I am unable to register as a Brand as Amazon require me to have both a registered Trademark and to have the Trademark permanently attached to the goods I sell.

To be honest I will probably be closing my Amazon account soon as it is becoming increasing difficult as a reseller to sell goods on Amazon. Amazon have pushed this brand issue so far that it is now nigh on impossible to list any items or even make minor changes to the listing - even when the change is to correct an error or to add extra information such as Colour. Even the manufacturer of the goods (with their name permanently attached, and the GTIN registered with GS1 belongs to them) cannot make the required changes because they have not registered themselves in Brand Registry. Amazon just respond with 'we have contacted the brand owner to make the changes' but refuse to say who they 'think' is the brand owner. If the goods branding is not in Brand Registry then Amazon should be relying on the information retrieved using the GTIN at GS1 - but this does not happen, so it is then impossible to make any minor change. I have a fair number of goods that Amazon say is 'search suppressed' because it requires a Colour attribute or something else minor - yet I am unable to make the change as I am not brand owner (just an authorised reseller) and even the manufacturer cannot make the change because they have not registered themselves in Brand Registry.

Regarding the listing challenges you're experiencing, I'd recommend opening a case with Seller Support referencing the specific ASINs that are search-suppressed. Include details on the attribute updates needed (such as Colour) and any authorization documentation you have from the manufacturer.

Oh I have tried this many times in the past and just get into a loop where Support insist they have contacted the brand owner (impossible as the brand is not in brand registry) to make/authorise the changes.

Even when I have supplied the GTIN (which proves the manufacturer name via GS1 lookup), the manufactures website , name/address/telephone/email contact details of the manufacturer, I am still told the same thing. Yet the manufacturer is never contacted - so I have no idea who Amazon is actually contacting (if anyone at all) as they are not contacting the manufacturer/supplier. I have even asked Amazon who they are contacting to be told that they cannot tell me this.

It is a ridiculous state of affairs when I am constantly told to update Colour attribute but then find it impossible to actually do it.
