how is amazon fba received more inventory than i have sent

how is amazon fba received more inventory than i have sent . For example I have sent 5unit for an ASIN, amazon has received 5 unit and simultaneously 5 unit is researching. How is this possible. Please explain.

Also does amazon reimburse the shipping cost I have incurred in sending the shipment to AMAZON FC
