Which Amazon UK warehouses accept hazardous goods / fulfilment and storage costs for hazmat?
Hi guys, I’m new on here and just had a couple of questions re hazardous goods. I didn’t realise quite so many products fell into the category of being “dangerous” but now I know I had a few questions which I can’t seem to find answer to from searching online.
- Does anyone out there selling hazmat products know a list of locations that are able to accept such products like flammable liquids, batteries etc? I understand that not all fulfillment centres can accept these types of products so there must be certain locations designated as hazmat friendly. I’m trying to get a courier quote for delivery for a potential new product but it would help if I could give the courier some indication of likely destination.
- Are the fulfilment fees in the UK any different for these types of products / is there a list or link somewhere showing the fees. I can find stuff in the US that appears to indicate different fees (higher storage and fulfilment) for these types of products but I can’t find anything in the UK. It’s really hard to work out whether a product is viable or not when you don’t know if you have all the correct costs included.
Thanks in advance for any help from a newbie.

Generally the costs of shipping to FBA centres are the same, no matter the location in the UK.
So for the purposes of getting a quote, then I would suggest that you use BHX4, as it’s the main inbound site.
Fees are not different for those type of products, but you cannot use some services, such as small and light.
But before you go any further, you will need to get onto the Hazmat program, or you will find that you simply can’t send anything.
