dpd uk collections (Amazon-Partner-Carrier)

Hi, I was wondering if anybody else has had issues with DPD uk not collecting FBA parcels like they promise.

I started using DPD collections 3 weeks ago.

1st week it took 3 rebookings before parcels were collected. Driver kept giving different reasons for not collecting, all false.

2nd Week same issue 2 rebookings before parcels are collected.

This week already rebooked again for tomorrow becuase with their tracking app showing 2 collections before mine I waited at door then a message on app saying could not collect because parcels not ready.

When you ring to complain and re-book collections you are asked to wait. this time after 8 minutes operator says she is unable to get hold of driver or get through to the depot, the same applied during previous 5 cancellations. Not once have they been able to contact the driver or the depot.

The only reason I am persevering is because DPD is around 40% cheaper than UPS.

Also, has anyone found a soloution to getting them to actually turn up for collections on the day booked without repeat re-bookings.

DPD has taken on all of Tuffnells' business (a courier that went bust last year), and they have overloaded their fulfilment centres, making it very hard for them logistically.

I use them for our core website and have a set pick up time every day with them, and we get a different driver nearly every day because they keep changing all of their routes around.

I would suggest persevering with them until they get it sorted, or using one of their local drop-off points.

Since DPD stated being offered UPS has been cheaper for all my shipments

If your stuck with DPD collection take to the PO if you have one close.
