I am looking for some advice please as I am tearing my hair our at this one!
Firstly some background: My Ltd Company went bust last April and the Amazon account laid dormant for around a year. I am now looking to start up again on a smaller scale, as a Sole Proprietor. I already have had a HMRC UTR number for many years as I was previously doing self employed tax returns as a director.
Recently I went through the Amazon account transfer process from the old company name into a new trading name and me as the sole proprietor. The new sole proprietor details show on my account information page, however I have a performance notification asking me to provide various proofs.
I have gone through this 4 times now and each time they come back saying the need more information but do not tell me what exactly they need. So far I have provided:
Passport (as a proof if ID)
Bank Statement (as proof of address)
23/24 Tax Return (as a proof of self employment)
Screenshot of 'VAT exemption declared' page (since I won't be due to pay any VAT until I hit £90K of sales)
Has anyone else experienced similar trouble and did you manage to resolve them? Even better if someone from Amazon could help that would be much appreciated :)
