Does anyone sell on Onbuy? With their £500 sales guarantee
Was just looking around at different marketplaces and I see Onbuy who ‘guarantee’ £500 a month in sales for a suscription of £19 or they wont take the following months subscription.
I know its a new marketplace, so I am wondering if its just a cunning plot to get £19 sign up fee off everyone.
Is anyone on this platform and if so, how are the sales going? Is it worth signing up?

The guarantee isn’t that you WILL make £500 in sales a month, but that if you don’t then the next months £19 fee will be waived
*If you make less than £500 a month in sales, we’ll waive the following month’s subscription.

I subscribed to Onbuy last September for a one off payment of £19 for 12 months. Thats right, Selling on their plaform is costing mer £19 for the rest of this year. However, You’ll be pleased to know that I’ve barely made that back in 6 months with 1 sale every 2 months on average despitehaving the cheapest offer online!!! I guess it just depends what you sell. We sell on there. It’s a no brainer for us. We signed up for free, there are no listing fees and we only pay when an items sells, very low fees at that. We’ve never hit the £500 and it’s very little effort to maintain. So, for us, it’s a free marketplace.
We get a few orders a month.

we are on onbuy for last few months with over a 1000 products and we are barely making 1 sale a month…
at this stage we are considering pulling out as it is a total waste of time of our listing creator.

One sale on the 4th March and one last night ( 30th March ) A lot of effort to put on all your listings for little return. They are more bothered about getting in sellers that getting in buyers. We signed up for 12 months. as soon as it is finished we are out of there.

We used it for more than a year, I believe we had no more than 5 sales during the whole year.
