How to report a fraudulent return?
Returns: Pre-Authorised refund by AMZ, wrong (worthless) item returned instead the original sent.
You should raise a SAFE-T claim for it providing pictures proving the wrong item was returned.
Amazon will then consider the claim and reimburse you if they find in your favour. You may however not get all of your money back.
Whether Amazon take any action against the customer as a result of a SAFE-T claim being raised I wouldn't know.
You have to file a SAFE-T claim when this happens...
However, they require photos of the packaging/parcel before you can submit it (yes, they expect you to waste time photographing every return parcel)
And of the 7/8 I have claimed against in the last 12 months, I have got on average 10% of the original order value back.
As always, a lose lose situation
We all know how bad Seller Support is in situations like this , i see it time and time again on various posts - i have a similar issue at the moment , but until all sellers group together and bombard Amazon Management with complaints about what is going on nothing ever will get done and we will still be in this position in 5 years time. This site wont let me transmit the email address of Management but its easy to find.
Open a SAFE-T claim and then report the buyer: Account Health - Report abuse of Amazon policies, select 'A customer who is violating returns and refund policies'
