Sending from Alibaba supplier to Amazon FC, PLS HELP!
Hi All,
I am new to Amazon FBA so really appreciate your help answering the below - have searched everyone and can’t find a simple answer to the 4 questions.
-
I want the Alibaba supplier to send direct DDP to Amazon’s FC and therefore was wondering if Alibaba suppliers are able to put the ‘Shipment label’ and ‘Carrier label’ on the box and put the ‘FNSKU code’ on all items for me?
-
IF YES how do i create the Shipment label, Carrier label and FNSKU code?
(from what i understand all are created from the shipping plan) -
Do i create a shipping plan and get the Shipment label, Carrier label and FNSKU code from that and thereafter send all of them to the Alibaba supplier to put the Shipment and Carrier label on the box and FSNKU on each item OR does the Alibaba supplier create the shipping plan?
-
Is it true to send from Alibaba supplier DDP to Amazon FC that the main items needed on the box are Shipment and Carrier label, and for the items all have to have FNSKU codes on it - am i missing anything else needed?
From someone new to this, I really appreciate all of your help!
Thank you very much.
Chris

Just checking. Alibaba is the best place if you want to buy fake brands. Are you buying branded goods there? If you are, think again as they will be fake without any doubt.
If not, someone will answer you in due course.

Depends what you’re buying but most of the premium sellers on Alibaba can do shipping direct to Amazon.
check the profile of the seller and they will normally say if the can do FBA services.

You need to create the shipping plan just like if you shipped it yourself. Put your supplier’s address as the “Ship from” location.
Save the FNSKU labels as a pdf file and e-mail it to the supplier. They will put the barcodes on your products.
After everything is packaged, ask them for the box weight and dimensions. Enter the information, print the box label and send the pdf to the supplier.

As already mentioned. If this is your first order with the supplier, I would have the products sent to you first. It’s just not worth the risk. If everything checks out OK, next time you can arrange delivery direct to Amazon.
Also before your order is dispatched from the supplier pay someone to do a pre shipment check.

my 2 cents worth. You don’t say if you are new to importing or just new to FBA. I experienced a few GOTCHAs with my first order from China. Firstly, not all factories on AB have export licences. If they don’t then you have to apply for one on their behalf, Mine was £125 irrespective of the size of the order, and you have to do it for every order. Secondly the price you are quoted is ex-factory and you still need to arrange getting it dockside and onto a boat, and then when it arrives in the UK, from the customs house to FBA warehouse. I ended up using Unsworth Global Logistics http://www.uglog.com/
no affiliation, just a satisfied customer. They called the factory direct and arranged all the paperwork and transfers, QCd the stock, labelled and palleted it and got it into FBA warehouse without any fuss. May not be the cheapest, but took away all the headaches.
