Hey Guys,

I hope you guys are doing well. I would like to ask about the adding user to my selling acount in UK marketplace. We sell in other countries and control it from Canada and for the UK we want to assign someone to do everything from there.

I added the user however could not give him permissions. I did give him the permissions but it seems like it is not what I am looking for as my new user can't do many important things like adding a new product etc.

Hi Ezra, I'm facing the same issue when we added the email in the main account's user permission i got the invite and accepted it. When we click manage permission button we face an error "This secondary user cannot be added on this account with this email address. Please use an alternate email address" however this is my new account with new email i dont know what is the issue. Please let me know how can i resolve this issue.

Thanks for sending over the screenshot. Just to clarify, does this secondary user already have their own seller account?

If so, they can't be added as a secondary user to your account. You have two options: either use a different email address for the secondary user, or if they have multiple seller accounts, they may need to close their existing account(s) first.

Please note that this email has no seller account i craeted this new email and now i'm facing same error. I dont know what the heck is going on

As mentioned before, this error typically shows up when the email address is already linked to another Amazon account. Are you still running into this issue?
