Amazon listings are not saving the keywords added to listing back end
Hi
I hope someone can help as i have had enough of amazon support asking the same questions that are totally irrelevant to my enquiry.
I am updating my amazon listings and adding keywords i can add the generic keyword but when i add extra keywords these are not being saved by Amazon i am giving the system 48 hours to update but they just disappear
Can anyone advise what is going wrong and how to fix it?
Thanks

I think only the “brand owner” can update the keywords.
Now on Amazon brand owner doesn’t actually mean the owner of the brand, that would be way to logical
In true Amazon form to keep us on our toes, confuse us so we haven’t a clue whats going on, and keep moving the goal posts, the brand owner on Amazon is actually the inventory listing that created the ASIN. Once its been deleted, all bets are off and all changes that you “suggest” are in the hands of the Amazon bots, even if you are the only seller, or it is your brand name, if you’ve deleted that listing you have given up your rights.
So if you have multiple listings on one ASIN (IE you FBA and FBM) then make sure you are updating the keywords on the original.
If it is your brand name, and you have brand registry you could try going through that.
If not, then you will keep getting told the brand owner controls the listing
