Valid Tracking Rate APC
I currently fulfill most my sales with APC Overnight courier.
My VTR has gone down recently but I used to have premium delivery eligibilities.
This has been revoked due to invalid tracking numbers. I’m sure I’m entering the right number, I enter the full consignment number which includes a string made up of the date and order number. Have I been doing this incorrectly? e.g the consignment number may look like this 2022012001915490000159
Has anyone else experienced this problem? What is the correct tracking number?

if you track a parcel on APC portal - does the number you have work?

I maybe reading your question wrong but if its about not being eligible for premium shipping anymore - which has its own separate metric to VTR, its because APC is not on their approved courier list for Premium Shipping

Hi there. We are having the exact same issue.
Until yesterday our APC sent orders weren’t even showing on our VTR at all, and it looked as though we only sent 72 shipments in a month instead of 600 odd.
This morning however it is picking up the 500 or so APC orders for the last 30 days, but every single one says the tracking number is invalid.
It is 100% correct, we are sure. They all work on the APC site and are the full number like you said.
We have also started to offer the 2 day premium shipping option as for some reason our delivery estimates a couple of weeks ago changed to about a week, even though we ship using APC which is 1-2 days delivery, and we changed nothing on our settings. To combat this we started using the Premium 2 day shipping template instead.
It could be that Little_Shop has sussed it straight away, and that because we are using the premium shipping template, the APC tracking is no longer valid.
I am very reluctant to go back to the standard template though as our estimated delivery date was way off, and our sales noticeably dropped because of this.

Having said that, I have just re-read the policy and APC have been added as an integrated carrier so it is probably related to that

We use APC for our shipments and when we spoke with our account manager about Amazon and VTR he suggested using the full 22 digit consignment number like you have been doing. It may be worth raising this with your APC account manager as it could be a problem their end.
We found APC extremely inconsistent for our Amazon shipments so instead switched to UPS.

I’ve been using the shorter tracking number but I think I’ll try with the full one now. We send few enough with APC that we can probably get away with it either way but it’s not ideal.

Has anybody had any clarification on which consignment number Amazon require for the APC orders to be validated? Speaking to APC, and also for customers tracking their items, only the last 7 digits are required. For our eBay orders, we use the full 22 digit consignment number and these are validated.

I’ve been told by seller support to try using the 22 digit consignment number but I didn’t get the sense that they had any confidence in that as a solution.

I have sat and updated all the orders in the last window, hopefully the vtr will start to slowly change, but im not holding my breath.

I am now upto 44% VTR in a week, so it has gone up 40%, i will download a report and check.
