Customer reviews violating Community Guidelines do not get removed
Hello,
I reported 10 reviews on one of our Asins - all reviews are against Community Guidelines. They never got removed. Then I sent emails @community-help twice with clear description why these reviews violate the Community Guidelines. As a last resource I opened a case but Amazon Seller Support can not do anything about that. They only repeat that I should report the reviews. So nothing happens..
Around a year ago Danika_Amazon posted here a great thread "So you want to remove a customer review?" explaining when the reviews can get removed and what do do if they do not. Unfortunately the thread is locked by now.
@Danika_Amazon: can you please look into my case numer 16709808081 and help me out?

You are wasting your time. That email address is a placebo. The mail is not read. The guidelines as presented to buyers are guidelines, not rules (right up until the point when Amazon decides it is a rule. Do not confuse those with seller guidelines -- those are always rules.
When Amazon removes product reviews it is for reasons of their own -- never at the behest of sellers.

Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums and for providing that case ID number.
I am confirming that I have escalated your case to the partner team for additional review. I will monitor for updates and will relay the same. Please note that the team may reach out to you for additional information so please monitor your case log, performance notifications, and email address on file.

Amazon removing the ability for sellers to respond to reviews was one of the worst decisions they ever made on top of letting customers opt out of communication. Basically you have an upset customer (usually due to some Amazon delivery issue, damaged, etc.) and absolutely no way to rectify it. That leaves the customer angry, the seller angry, and no resolution whatsoever.

As stated, it is a waste of time.
Let's see what happens when a mod sends it in.
