VAT Deregistration UK

Hi Everyone,

After 13 years selling on Amazon, we are slowly winding down our Amzon business and in the process now of de-registering for VAT due to our turnover dropping below the required HMRC threshold.

We are concerned about the Amazon minefield with doing this, does anybody have any experience with this and how best to go about it. Ive noticed that there seems to be information that you need to submit a de-registration certificate but HMRC dosent seem to give you one? Any advise or experience on this would be grateful appreciated.
