Is this a hint from Amazon, that these are customers that have disputed deliveries previously and a way to say watch out?
(The identical item sold to another Buyer does not say this and there is no indication that the Buyers Name/Address are an issue).

the one we have "flagged" is from a regular customer - and no previous issues - so it may be an issue at his local mail depot - or more likely a spate of stolen-from-doorstep packages in that area
Don't get me wrong - this is a very tool and we appreciate Amazon's discretely sharing this information to protect us all

I had an order yesterday for £1,200 and one today for £340 from a repeat customer, where it never stated signature recommended, so definitely a few factors and not just that those buyers are scammers , price being one of them .

If Amazon does NOT say Signature Recommended, it would be better for Amazon to accept a photo of the delivery, GPS and a Map as proof instead.
Maybe even Signed For, OR, PIN number for items say over £200

I have had one with 'signature confirmation recommended'. I therefore used RMSD.
As soon as he received it, he opened a change of mind return.
He has been granted refund at first scam scan.
We will see whether I receive the product or an empty box.
