Detail Page Removed

Hello All,

I’ve just been into my Fix Your Products Page and found to my immense surprise that I had some Search Suppressed items (have now deleted product and listings) but also 51 Detailed Page Removed items (that weren’t listed yesterday!)

These are all books that were listed against their ISBNs but the Other Issue against all of them is:
" This ASIN has GTIN codes that do not match the brand associated to the ASIN. GTIN codes are reliable data that are used to limit duplicate products in the catalogue and ensure product authenticity. We verify the authenticity of GTINs by checking the GS1 database and GTINs that do not match information in GS1 are considered invalid. We recommend obtaining your GTINs directly from GS1 (and not from other third parties selling GTIN licences) to ensure the appropriate information is reflected in the GS1 database. If you believe we have removed your ASIN in error, contact Selling Partner Support here. Repeatedly creating ASINs for brands you do not have a relationship with will result in the removal of ASIN creation abilities. Learn more ."

e.g.

ASIN: 0099271095

SKU: BCA00003267

Condition: Used

I haven’t had anything to do with the GS1 database or GTIN codes having listed these books against the ISBN and the original existing Detail Pages that have now been removed (between 12 days and 2 years ago, apparently.

Anyone know how I can reinstate these items?

Thank you

Brian
PS and I’ve just had an excessive price deactivation for a book that I sold years ago!

In a word, no. Amazon are currently having a purge of listings that don’t match the data held for them.
I would be willing to bet though, that if you search for the ISBN via add a product, you will probably find another listing.
It’s not guaranteed though, as the listing has to exist in the first place.

I’m not 100% sure as to how ISBN’s and EAN’s work with books, but they need to match the GS1 database. If they don’t, then the listing is going to be taken down at some point.

Yep, have found the same, and we wonder why the books have not sold ?!
Like Neil, I haven’t a clue about how ISBNs are linked with GTINs on the GS1 database, if they even are ?

That is why I now always completely close and delete via the ‘all’ button for every sale.
