Documents to be dated within last 90 days or last year?

Been trading on Amazon for several years but now they want me to go through verification as they say my documents are not dated within last 90 days

So I go through the list of allowed documents - and it says the document must be dated within last 90 days, then contradicts itself and says within last year?

Hello,

+We need some additional documents to continue with your account verification.+

+The HMRC document you provided was not dated within the last 90 days.+

+Please upload the documents listed below to the “Settings” section of Seller Central (https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/on-board/configuration/index.html). It is important that the documents are easy to read. The information on the documents should also match the information entered in Seller Central.+

±- One of the following documents issued by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) within the last year:+
± Class 2 National Insurance Contributions (NICs) Bill+
± Online VAT Certificate+
± Self-Assessment notice to complete a tax return+
± Letter confirming your Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) number+
± Self Assessment Statement+
± Short Tax Return.+

+We can also accept the following documents issued by HMRC:+
± Certificate of Registration for Value Added Tax (VAT)+
± ‘Welcome to Self-Assessment’ letter confirming your UTR number+
± Letter confirming your VAT number, following a VAT1 application.+

On some of the documents it is asking for there is no ‘issue date’

For example, my VAT Certificate only has an ‘Effective Date’ from 2008, document itself has no ‘issue date’

Letter confirming UTR was again issued years ago - I have never had a new one issued every year

Last Self Assessment notice I had to complete a return was dated April 2017

My Self Assessment Statement for Jan 2018 is not yet available - but I have the one for June 2017 but that is more than 90 days ago.

Hopeless - I suppose all I can do is supply the ‘old’ documents and then wait…here’s hoping

OK - it gets worse

Just went to do the upload and you have to choose document you uploading, but it only gives 4 options - no where near as many as the list above

So I upload my VAT Certificate (even though it only has an ‘effective date’ of 2008 and was not issued in last 90 days/year - and they should have a copy of this sent several years ago as well)

Then I go back to try and upload Self Assessment Statement as well - but it now saying they are reviewing the document I have uploaded and won’t let me upload a second one!!!

They only want one of the HMRC documents don’t they? don’t send anything out of date - phone HMRC NOW and ask for a letter( dated now) to be sent to you asap confirming your UTR number, then submit that to Amazon.

Yeah - but I don’t recollect the UTR document was one the ones in the dropdown you have to select when uploading - there were only 4 possible document types to upload at that point even though the notification gives a much larger list.

From a different thread it seems you are supposed to combine the documents into 1 pdf first and then upload - it would help if that was explained
