Upload Issues - Unit Count Error, Code 8105 and many more!
I hope there is someone out there that can help.
After successfully setting up a new brand and uploading our first product we were ready to push on and upload the rest of the catalogue. We therefore used the ‘Add Products Via Upload’ selection. Four products uploaded fine. Eight products had a string of errors relating to the SKU being invalid (Error 8105), then subsequent errors such as the image not being associated to the SKU. This is all in spite of the fact that we have a valid SKU entry ‘SP0002’ as an example.
When opening up the error report via excel the only flagged error is the ‘Product Type’ which in this case is ‘conditioner’ as supplied by Amazon when I downloaded the latest template file. Therefor, I cannot see how this is incorrect.
So, I looked at manually altering the ‘Drafts’ instead of the excel. Here there is a different error. No matter what figure I input to ‘Unit Count’ and ‘Unit Count Type’ the form flags an error as ‘Invalid Entry’ despite the entries working for other products. These entries are ‘275’ and ‘millilitre’ as an example. Interestingly if I try to upload one product at a time with ‘Add Product not listed on Amazon’ the same issue occurs.
Amazon technical support have been exceptionally difficult to talk to. Multiple phone calls have cut off or are in-audible. The live chat support advices to wait 24 hours, try another batch, delete the previous batch, wait 24 hours, over and over again. Or the Live Chat pushes the query to Technical Support who return with emails relating to an issue I have not even flagged. This has been going on for nearly 2 weeks now and it has taken up a lot of time.
If there is anyone out there with a fix it would be much appreciated.
