GTIN- not accepted - first product listing
Hello, I am trying to list our first product on Amazon, but despite of having the barcodes from GS1 the platform doesn’t accept our product ID. Would appreciate any assistance from fellow sellers.
Kind regards,

If these are your own GS1 issued numbers then they will be registered to your company or t/a name.
When entering the product details you need to enter the exact same name for Manufacturer.
I spoke to someone from GS1 several months ago on this issue. They confirmed that either Manufacturer and/or Brand need to match the name registered with GS1 when listing on Amazon.
If the product is generic/unregistered brand then use the Manufacturer field for the GS1 registered name and ‘Generic’ for Brand
If branded, then you need both fields (which may be the same or different depending if it is a licensed brand)
