Inventory not always updating in synced marketplaces
Hello,
We use amazon.co.uk as our source marketplace and are synchronised with the other EU marketplaces. Generally things work fine, but every now and then we find we get a sale on one of the EU marketplaces for an item that we’d deleted from our listings months ago on UK. As I say everything is sync’d and most of the time things work fine, but it happens frequently enough for me to ask about it since inevitably we have to cancel the order for having no stock. Is there possibly a flaw, am I missing something?
All help appreciated.

When you delete an item from UK you need to manually delete it from each EU marketplace as well. I’ve always had to do this anyway.

Personally, I have never had something like this happen to me but sellers are often reporting similar issues on the forums.
I would advise you to regularly check your connection settings to ensure that all individual marketplaces are properly synced.

Thanks for the replies.
I think it may well be the deleting them that’s doing it. On a rare occasion we’ll delete an item that had stock, so that would explain it if it doesn’t delete in all marketplaces. Odd that when the listings are sync’d it wouldn’t automatically delete in all marketplaces when removed from source, but at least I should be able to avoid this issue going forward. Thanks.

Check here, using germany as an example -
SC homepage, inventory, sell globally, Build International Listings.
Select Status Report, generate report.
You’ll then need to re-order the generated spreadsheet. Select product name column and put it in order. Then scan it to find products that are in say Germany, but not in UK.
Depending on the amount of products you have, this could take a while.
Delete any products that are listed on germany but not UK.
Repeat for other marketplaces.
You’ve obviously gone wrong somewhere. It is not necessary to be manually deleting stuff of EU marketplaces if your synch is correct.
