Build International Listings and Variations

Hi all
Just opened a case with SS. Got a phone call from someone who clearly hadn’t got a clue and who barely spoke English. So I thought I’d ask here:-

"Can you give me some advice please regarding the Build International Listings tool?
What happens in the following case?:-

I have a variation listing on amaxon.co.uk. I want to manually create this on amazon.it for example. The listing will consist of a single Parent ASIN, and several child ASINs.
If I manually create the parent Asin on amazon.it (via the Add a product route), will all the child listing be automatically created on amazon.it too?

UPDATE - just received email closing case. The usual copy and paste. 99% irrelevant, apart from one line which says “In order to have the child ASINs in other marketplaces, you need to first synchronize the listings and later create a Parent child variation view.”
Obviously, they give no explanation of what a Parent Child variation View is.

Does anyone here know?
