Incorrect Dimensions Causing Higher FBA Fees
Hello everyone,
I am facing an issue with high FBA fees due to incorrect product dimensions. The actual dimensions of my item are 17.2 x 18.6 x 2.4 cm, but Amazon is incorrectly recording the height as 2.7 cm, resulting in higher fees.
Based on the correct dimensions, the FBA fee should be £2.10, but Amazon is charging £2.42.
We understand that Amazon uses sensors to capture item packaging dimensions. However, our product is not packaged in loose materials like plastic bags—it comes in a box packaging, which should allow for accurate measurement.
I have opened five cases regarding this issue since November 2024, but despite multiple attempts, Amazon has not updated the correct height.
Recently, Amazon support acknowledged the correct dimensions in the case, but the Manage Inventory and FBA Fee Calculator still reflect the incorrect height, leading to continuous overcharging.
This issue has been ongoing for too long. Kindly provide guidance on how to resolve it.

Just checking if the product packaging might be causing this issue. Amazon usually uses a Cubiscan to measure products, and it’s pretty accurate. But sometimes things like extra air in the packaging or a hanger flap can make the measurements bigger.
I’m also pretty sure you can request up to 20 rescans a month through the automated support service. Take a look at the photo below and the wording you put in for 'my issue is not listed' under seller support help
