Can a refund be cancelled
Hi
Is it possible to cancel a refund, a very impatient customer message this morning demanding a refund because her item had not arrived by the due date, as its a day before last delivery I refunded her, she has now contacted me saying item has arrived and to cancel refund, can this be done?

I believe if REALLY quick there is a button to cancel a refund - but I assume that time has now passed.
The correct method now is to get the customer to contact Amazon Customer Services and ask for the order to be recharged to their card. See Refund Mistakes on this page.
However, there have been reported instances of the Customer Services agent has advised the customer to keep the item and they don’t do the recharge.

No, you cannot cancel a refund.
You will either have to ask the customer to contact Customer services fromtheir account and ask them to recharge her card - BUT there are lots of reports thateven though the customer does that , the money is never refunded to the seller.
The other option, though not ideal, is to tell the customer to place another order for the item, you mark as despatched but do not send.
Only wise if you can trust your customer to then not open another INR !!!

Hey,
Yes you can.
We issued a refund for a customer in Germany yesterday, then they replied back to say they now received the item and to not process a refund, but we already had, so I checked the order page and just above the order details was a “cancel refund” button.
I think until you get the email confirming the refund, you have time to now cancel it.

You have to go through the support. Sometimes they suggest using “SAFE-T”, sometimes they just outright say “NO” .
