FBA Offer Coming through to MFN

Morning All,

Random one here: We had a supply issue with one of our products and as such went out of stock of it on FBA. That has now been replenished, however orders are coming through under our FBA SKU to our MFN orders. The FBA offer is now also showing at the same price alongside this merchant offer which we have no SKU for in our inventory? Completely confused over here! A glitch perhaps? Not sure what to do but we have had to increase our price on FBA as it’s so much more expensive for us to fulfil this particular item using RM instead of Small and Light. Hope someone can help!

Random aside: an FBA offer we have been out of stock of for some months now also started receiving orders again at the end of last week. We have had to close the offer to prevent this from continuing. Have FBA out of stock settings been changed for everyone so it reverts to MFN?! Surely not…

Looks like you are seeing the same thing as me then… i don’t understand where the other two are coming from… None of our shipping templates have a £5.50 surcharge in anywhere either. Ours are all free shipping unless it’s for a large item to a remote location and then it’s a £25 surcharge. I don’t know if perhaps that’s a historical offer from before my time here, but certainly there’s nothing in our inventory to match up to those now. It’s the £7.90 merchant one that concerns me though as it’s just changing to mirror whatever I set the FBA price as despite there being no SKU for it and it seems to be taking preference for the Buy Box too.

Not as yet. Will that not cause the units I just sent into FBA to become stranded? And would I then need to re-enrol them in S+L? Thanks for the input though, I’ll give it a go. Is it still the case that you have to wait 24 hours before relisting under the same SKU?

Quick update that may be of interest: We have an order in FBA for this product now that is registered as a customer order in FBA, however has still come through to us for fulfilment! So it looks as though orders on this offer are being counted twice?

Okay amazing, I guess that’s the best option then. The units are currently in transfer aside from the one that’s been ordered so hopefully wont make a difference. The SKUs are different, I always suffix my S+L offers with -SNL to keep things easier to understand and so we can see which product code it is and then if its FBA/SNL or just merchant fulfilled!

Hello, we get this error when using stock control programs like Linnworks to list items. Converting the listing to FBM and than back to FBA normally fixes the issue. Searching Amazon Ghost listing online can get you more information on the glitch.

When we have 2 offers live (1 FBA & 1 MFN - which we don’t want live), we convert the listing to MFN, set the inventory to 0 and convert back to FBA immediately. This usually resolves the issue.

I’ve just completed the switch back to SNL for the product I was having troubles with and it appears to have cleared the fault! It must be linked to the Sage 200 integration we just switched over to, though I never had any issues with Linnworks or CCP at my old place.

@Rhino_Stationery_Di1 are you having similar problems?

Just for anyone still following this: I have checked all of our FBA offers and since switching to Sage 200 they have had a separate offer populate on the Amazon product detail pages that there is no SKU in our Inventory for. I will have to check this out but for anyone else using Sage in particular to manage their amazon stock this might be worth being wary of! So far it seems isolated to products which we have FBA/SNL offers on. I can only guess this is linked to the fact we have a separate warehouse set up in Sage to account for our stock held at Amazon and perhaps this is pushing to Amazon and somehow creating an offer.

If anyone wants a new thread making to discuss this let me know or do come back here but those using Sage or other Stock Management systems keep an eye out!
