There is a Problem with my Seller Account
When i add products to my catalogue there’s a message that says:
“You’re currently unable to add or edit listings because either the credit card on file is invalid or the credit card is in the process of validating, which could take up to 24 hours. Please ensure that you have a valid credit card uploaded in Account Settings.”
I added my debit card in my account, and it’s verified, it says that i need to add a credit card which i don’t have, does it mean i have to open a new credit card information to my account. I have another bank account which i can add would this fix the issue.

What do you think? You should have requested your bank to issue a credit card for your seller account. When they say they need a credit card, it’s exactly that and neither debit card nor prepaid card will be accepted.
No, it wouldn’t as bank account≠credit card. Don’t go barking up the wrong tree…

If it says credit card, guess what it means?
- Debit card
- Cash
- Credit card
- Prepaid card

I try to apply for a credit card it says am un-eligible for one, i have a debit card which is added to my account and its verified. i checked the settings in my accounts it says " ACCOUNT VERIFICATION STATUS Verified" but when i add a product to my listing it says i need to wait 24 hours verification.

The credit card is needed in case you owe money to Amazon for refunds or fees and your account is empty. A debit card won’t work if the bank account is empty as well, hence the need for a credit card. If you are unable to be accepted for a credit card I’m guessing Amazon asking for one is quite a good safeguard for them.
