Inventory file templates (part 4) : prices and quantity discounts

This summary focuses on using feeds to add business pricing and quantity discounts to your existing Amazon listings.

If you want to automate business pricing across your whole catalogue with a few clicks, you can use our automated pricing rules.

Steps:

1-Download the Feed File:

2-Complete the Feed File:

  • Required: Add a business price (lower than your standard price or equal if you would only like to add quantity discounts).
  • Optional: Add quantity discounts using either:

*Fixed Model: Enter specific prices for each discount tier.

*Percentage Model: Enter percentage discounts based on your business price.

  • Specify Quantity Tiers: Define the minimum purchase quantity for each discount.
  • Specify Quantity Discounts: Enter the discounted prices (fixed model) or percentage discounts (percentage model).

3-Save and Upload the File:

  • Save the completed file as a tab-delimited text file (.txt).
  • Upload it through Seller Central's "Add Products via Upload" with "Price and quantity file" option.

4-Review and Confirm:

  • Download the "Uploaded report" to check for errors.
  • After about an hour, your business prices and quantity discounts should be reflected in "Manage Inventory."

Additional Notes:

  • This does not change or replace your existing offer; it adds business prices or quantity discounts to your existing offers. Your standard (B2C) price stays the same.
  • FBA sellers leave quantity and lead-time-to-ship columns blank.
  • Use the correct decimal separator for your marketplace (". for UK, "," for others).

For detailed instructions and additional options, refer to the full guidance.
