In business name incorrect lower case letter
Hi all,
I have legal name for company with first capital letter, but in Amazon I have in registration process written with lower case letter. Now I updated it in Amazon and there is following message in section “Identity information”.
If you intend to change your company registration number and your company name, you may be attempting to transfer your account to a different company. If this is the case, please go to Transfer Account in the Business Information section and complete the self-service process. Submitting KYC information for a new company without first transferring the account may result in delays to verification and/or suspension/closure of your account.
Also Account status is “Information Provided.”
Does this means that I can start to selll items or I really have to go through account transfer process? I am confused because I am not changing company nr or name, just the type of 1 letter.

I wouldn’t worry about the whether the name is capital or lower case it is still the same company. If you are a limited company it doesn’t matter what casing you use when you tell other people your company name.
If your company name is spelt correctly on amazon then there is no need to change it in my opinion. You can ensure that the name you show to customers is presented in your preferred format through the Display Name option.
