Rate of feedback left
We only have about 1 in 200 orders leave feedback for us, is this the sort of rate everyone else sees on here? I'm sure we used to get at least twice as many.
Obviously the few unhappy customers (usually because of delivery delays) are more likely to leave feedback so every negative has a big impact.
In contrast, we have about 7 in every 100 orders on Shopify leave us a review on Trustpilot.

It sounds about right we are slightly better at 1 in 100 orders that receive feedback.
Like you we used to receive a lot more feedback, probably double what we receive currently. There has been a decline in feedback on Amazon over the last year or so.

I think it's about that for me as well, lots of the stuff I sell is less than £10 so it might be that people are not that invested. But I used to get a bit more a few years ago. While on eBay I haven't noticed a decline tbh.

Yeah, we've had 5 feedbacks from just over 500 orders this year so a better return but still not what you'd expect. 1 of those is negative so our percentage is only 80% which isn't great.
Amazon has definitely done something in the past few years to lower the amount of feedback customers receive. Whether they have another one of their automated systems filtering some out or aren't giving customers any sort of message after they've received the order, I'm not sure though.
