Evri question - size
Trying Evri for the first time. Sending a under 1kg letterbox friendly ‘parcel’. BUT the width is 23.3cm not the max 23cm. How strict are Evri on this?
The box is meant to be 23cm, but can be a mm or two either way once put together. Just general tolerances.
Because I’ve never used them, not sure how picky they are. Don’t want the customer hit with a delivery payment. Parcel size is not much more cost, so can use that. Just wanted to check with others first.

If you’re buying it through an account, they’ll slap you with a heftyyyyy fee not the customer. We found it was rather extortionate but ours was a weight issue. Another reason why we moved to Yodel.
Can’t speak for their tolerance of .2cm but we’ve been slapped before…

I couldn’t really tell you on this one as I send well under the dimension.
The problem is that you might get away with it but if it is checked and they can find a way to be anal on it they will.
Personally I wouldn’t risk it because even if you get away with it for a long period of time, when eventually it is picked up, it just winds you up.
I had a similar thing with RM whereby I had parcels that weighed just 5g over 2kg. They came back and said that my parcels weighed 2.1kg and although it was clear that they were out, I couldn’t argue that the parcel was still over 2kg and it was short.

Does anyone know how strict EVRi are in terms of if we say a parcel is 500g but it’s actually 700g once packed would that cause a problem? I would have paid for the 0-1kg price bracket, and the actual weight would still be in the same weight bracket but I guess technically we will have provided an incorrect weight?

EVRi are strict on weight, but never had an issue with measurements
