Thank you for the information provided regarding the approval for button cell batteries. I understand that our team may be requesting information for this. This type of approval will require the following information:

  • Proof of compliance with Underwriters Laboratories 4200A (UL4200A) from an ISO 17025-approved lab
  • General Certificate of Conformity that lists compliance with UL4200A

Is a request for this information being made from you currently? If so, have you provided the documents for review? We ask that if you have any cases or other messaging regarding this, you do provide it here for continued support.

Best,

Atlas

Not only have we not heard of a single approval, they flagged a few automatics and we have lost appeals on those. These folks do not even understand what that word means, just maddening.

We received our first approvals for about 6 products about a week after submitting the Lab Results, Images and GCC.s We submitted about 20 at the time, others are still in review status.

closed our first store. Of 164 watches flagged 42 were mechanical non battery. And we were asked to prove ththat They were exempt from the battery law. Providing g peodict description thet mechanical automatic was insifficent. Spoke to citizen, seiko, bulova, timex and they thi k it's rediculijs, ridiculous, their OEOEM Packsging should be sufficient as they cover prodict liability and they don't understand why AmazoAmazon isn't working with them directly. Additionally for the ververy few lab approval forms thst are out there you have to submit for each store and your submitted form isn't blanket applied to all so they aren't helhelping stor owners by gathering and applying acceptable lab letters to all inveinventory. Our prodict liability attorney reached out to Amazon and they refused them access to the team thathat is handling this
