What is the product classification for protective visors?

Hi,

I am looking to sell protective visors on amazon via FBA and was concerned about the returns policy as a high proportion of returns would negate our profit and could eventually incur a loss.

Is a protective visor considered clothing? as amazon states that a returns processing fee applies to certain product categories, for which clothing is one of them.

I’m struggling to find anything online that can help me in classifying this product and was hoping other sellers may be able to help.

If it isn’t considered clothing or falls under any of these categories. How are FBA returns handled?

Before you commit to buying these items from your supplier I’d check with Amazon that you can sell them, especially as a new seller. Amazon are clamping down on sales of things they view to be making money from the current situation.

The category is “Health and personal care” but anything that is or could be Corona-related is subject to restrictions on Amazon. You will need prior approval to sell them and they are unlikely to approve a seller who is new.
You need to look at the Seller University videos on here AND all the relevant “Programme policies” especially those refer to restrictions or approvals AND the Corona-virus announcements, but to be honest you’re wasting your time trying to sell them on here, at least at the present time

Just to agree with a previous reply and all of stallion’s points above - it is highly unlikely that you will be approved to sell protective visors at the moment as Amazon has put restrictions on new sellers selling anything even remotely related to the current virus pandemic. (such as masks, hand gels etc.)
