Confused about case packed vs individual packed shipment
Hi everyone,
We are currently in the process of preparing our first shipment, and I am a little confused as to what we are required to do in terms of shipment.
I am sending in 200 units of my product (2 colours, 100 of each) which each come in it’s own box. There are 5 of these boxes within a larger box with products all of the same colour and condition (i.e. 40 larger boxes in total, 20 containing one colour and 20 with the other colour).
So, do I select case packaged item in this situation or individual packed? I ask because on Amazon’s guidance it says that the case refers to the packaging the product comes in, not the carton provided by the supplier.
I hope this makes sense
Thank you!

In actual fact, you can choose either method.
I tend to choose individual myself as it allows for changes whilst packing.
Basically the difference is, for case packed, you are sending 5 boxes of 5 items and individual, they can be mixed packs. so 5 boxes of 5 different items.
But when you get to the end of the shipping plan, you can decide how everything is actually packed anyway. The individual just gives more options at that stage.
