China dropshippers
Hi
I am worried that if I import white label goods into amazon I am going to see my product at a drastic reduced price shipped direct from china FBM style. It seems this is getting to be on a bigger scale. Like ebay it’s never really clear where the items are coming from and the arrival dates are the only slight giveaway. If amazon is allowing this then I need to plan for it.

So if you are right then amazon are not removing these listings. That’s what I think you are saying. Maybe I should do what they are doing then. If people are ok to wait for items from china and save money then I should just start dropshipping instead of fba.
How the hell does a china dropshipper sell an item for 2.99 anyway. I thought amazon had a 10 pound limit? Also the fees would not cover a 2.99 listing. I am very confused.

Well, FBM takes over 2 weeks via China post, that’s the fact.
Secondly, the price, to win the buy box, you will need to send stocks to FBA fulfillment center.
Even though your price is bit higher (not too much higher) than the FBM sellers’, you can still have the buy box.
Totally 2 different things, to have the buy box or don’t.

So what about a UK seller dropshipping from china. Their address will be UK.
I have sold the odd item FBM and the fees would not make a £2.99 listing worth it.
@BBQ my FBM would be 300% higher. So they selling at 2.99 I am seeing already FBM same product 9.99.
I don’t think it’s all about the buy box as these items were suggested to me based on what I was looking for and they all came up. Different ASIN I guess.

Plan for it is spot on. Dropshipping is built into the Amazon model - they do it and do it for others. The special treatment of China has been around in one form of another for thirty years. Despite the failure of Cameron’s Golden Age of UK China trade, we’re likely to make even more allowances after we leave the EU.
