80 items Search suppress, cannot edit missing attributes
For years now I have had over 80 items in my catalog search suppressed because it says I need to add color and size. When I write to customer service about this problem they just take me around in circles I get frustrated and quit trying that’s why I have items that have been search suppressed back five years. To make matters worse I manufacture latex Halloween masks and it really isn’t colored base I guess you’d say that the color would be Caucasian? And the size would be standard? When I go to “fix your products” page this paragraph comes up:

I have confirmed with branding that I am authorized to edit my products but there is no editing button and if I go into inventory management and edit a particular suppressed item there is no attribute there to edit color and size. In dealing with customer service they just take me around in circles over and over again, they tell me I am authorized to edit these attributes but there is no screen for me to accomplish the editing please if anyone has had a similar experience or can help me it would be much appreciated.

Go to inventory - manage inventory - click listing quality dashboard - click edit bulk listing and download the report - open the text file in Excel and update the missing attribute and save - then upload the file.

You need to upload the products using the excel sheet and you need to update ‘Unit_count’ and 'Unit_type" information.

Totally miss that thanks. I generated a new report and did not get 81 items only 21. The 21 I did get had attributes that I can edit. Missing is the 81 items that I need to edit size and color. I am listed in brand permissions as the owner but still am not being able to edit these two values on 81 items. The 21 I manage to download the report were not search suppressed and none of the attributes were applicable on these 21 items. I have been telling customer service quite literally for years that I can’t find any way to get to these 81 items to add the attribute color and size.

We have a similar situation with only 9 items (which our own design and no other sellers are therefore on them) so interested to see what the solution is. Exact same message you have quoted about having no authority.
We have also tried already to edit by uploading a bulk spreadsheet but it doesn’t work.
We have had many others where we have been able to just select from the drop down and update the listing no problem - for example add a ‘Size’, or a ‘Colour’ - even when it is completely irrelevant for the item

There is a way round it. Create a new listing by clicking add product etc. Wait 15 minutes for the new product to be listed and then delete the old listing. When creating the new listing ensure the sizing is added. Again we had the same issue. No one at seller support could not help so we tried own method.

We are having same ASINs keep coming up. We update the information required and wait 48 hours and still the matter has not been resolved. We have updated some ASINs over 15 times now.

can you do it from the listing quality dashboard directly? It sometimes has drop downs where you can select. Just do it the tedious way, if that’s the only way that works.

Listing quality did not have a category for color and size and also it does not deal with issues of permissions for brand. Of the 81 search suppressed items I had only about five of them had quality issues and did not really deal at all with the 81 search suppressed items I had.
