I have overcharged postage, how to refund a customer?

I have overcharged postage to a customer. How can I refund the customer say 0.50p? I am new to Amazon Marketplace. On eBay I’d just refund directly to the customer through Paypal.

I would just keep it. You can do a partial refund through the orders page, click “refund order” then the amount to refund.

When you say you have overcharged a customer, did you set your own postage costs ?, or are you on the Individual selling plan ?
Why do you feel the need to refund 50p ? - the customer will have known what he was paying when he placed the order
For example, I sell books. Amazon’s set P&P for that category is £2.80 regardless of size and weight, so sometimes I can post a thin light paperback for £1.32, (but the buyer still pays £2.80), but at other times a box set costs significantly more than the £2.80 the buyer has paid, so I use a courier, which is cheaper than RM for over 2kg.
If you are on Individual plan, then Amazon have their own set postage charges for different categories and customers will be charged that, whatever the item actually costs in reality to post.
If you are on the Pro selling plan where you can set your own postage charges then the customer will have known the postage they were being charged.
You can issue partial refunds - go to the order page, shipped and there is a tab to refund. Be sure you select partial refund.

You can do a partial refund through your orders.
That said, the buyer has agreed to the postage amount when they purchased the item. This is not eBay.
If you are an individual seller (and thus cannot set your own postage ) the buyer pays the amount set by Amazon.
I would not refund this small amount on Amazon, tbh.

That’s a great help. Many thanks for all responses. Much appreciated!
