Thermal Printer 6x4 labels for FBA, Ebay, Paypal etc

I did search the forum first but the threads are years old.
What are the best thermal printers?
Looking on Amazon they all have their pros and cons.
I bought a MUNBYN from Amazon; most reviews, best-seller etc
Saw the 1-star reviews which warned about bad print, but the price was good.
The print quality is awful! You can’t even see the addresses. Sent it back immediately.
Sure the good reviews must be fake. The test paper in the box had already been printed on too! And mud on the box inside the amazon packaging. Must have been a return and been dropped on the floor.

Can anyone recommend one with an excellent print quality please?

Thanks

Rhian

If you are willing to spend more than the MUNBYN, then I would recommend a Dymo Labelwriter 4XL. The printer is easy to use and have been using since 2016 for my business.

Zebra
We’ve had ours nearly a year, very fast, good quality and above all excellent after sales support (which we have had to use a couple of times due to our own computer issues)

The Zebra GK420D is a fantastic piece of kit at around £150 new, or we picked ours up on auction sites for around £110. Labels are free from Royal Mail if your a business account customer as well. Remember to buy 2 to have one as a spare. It’s not the type of thing you can walk into a store and buy so the last thing you want on a busy Monday morning is for it to give up the go and your stuck without a label printer…

We have been using the same Zebra 420D since 2012. If you also download Acrobat label quality is excellent. The labels are Free via Royal Mail OBA or Click and Drop.

Only thing to be aware of buying second hand is that print heads cost a fortune if they aren’t working.

I use Zebra for delivery labels, and a Toshiba TEC B-EX4T2 industrial printer for FBA labelling etc - I bought it for £150 (normally £700+) but the print head is a bit dodgy in some places and costs about £300 alone to replace. They are fast though.

I also have an Argox ribbon printer, you can use cheap wax rubbons that transfers to your labels and they are very good quality - again for better barcodes or prodiuct labels http://www.argox.com/product/cp-3140l/
