Account at risk of deactivation for IP Complaint

I received 3 IP complaints last month within a span of 2 weeks. 2 were removed and, for some reason, Amazon has taken over a month to address the last one. The last one carried 16 points. My account health rating was at 220. Yesterday, I received another IP complaint because this character states he doesn’t want anyone selling his book. SMH. I file a counter-notice under the DMCA but who knows how long this will take given the last one has been pending for over a month. Because this was the fourth violation-Amazon deemed it a repeat violation-my account health score dropped by 32 points to 188. If I received one more I would drop probably 64 points. However, the one that is pending from last month is going to get dropped because this book owner filed it because she thought her publisher wasn’t giving her royalties. This is the frequent abuse that takes place on this forum that Amazon REFUSES to address.

Is there anyway once the violation from last month gets removed that I could have a reevaluation of the IP complaint points drop since it would only be one violation (but carried 32 points SMH). Also, should I just consider shutting down until this is all resolved?

Although you may be in the right - i.e. purchasing lawfully does not require prior approval, although evidence is needed such as supplier invoices - is it worth trying to battle this one out with the purported rights owner? In other words, is the money involved with that single SKU/ASIN worth risking your entire account? Usually I accept this is Amazon’s systems/processes, and simply block an ASIN for all and any reasons - because the risk of repeat complaints is much higher.

Amazon would help sellers if they could block 3P offers on “honey trap” ASINs that receive a disproportionate amount of IP complaints - for whatever reason.
