Does anyone use DPD shipment to FBA?
Hi, everyone,
i had a shipment via DPD to FBA(Germane),
When I check the tracking, I’st showed delivered(general authorization to deposit without signature)
However, The inventory is always in inbound; amazon replied me that they have never received the shipment.
DPD Germany said they have an agreement with Amazon, to leave in a safe place without signature.
But when I show the screenshot of tracking and the agreement which DPD provided to me as a proof,
Amazon denied it and told me
" there is no agreement with any carrier for a shipment to be left at the warehouse in a safe place without being signed for by an Amazon employee"
“All carriers must provide evidence that goods were handed over to the designated Amazon fulfilment centre.”
I really don’t how can i do now…Amazon request me to provide the proof of delivery with amazon staff signature,.
but DPD said due to agreement, there was no signature with this shipment…
Does anyone has same issue?
Thank you.

Hi
We do use DPD for our fba shipment daily basis but never had any issue with delivery.
Speek to your DPD account manager. Account manager is the only one person who can compensate you in this situation.
I hope this will help.
Thank you

Hi, we use DPD.
in the same situation Amazon replied:
’ I would like to inform you that it takes more than a few days for us to scan and successfully update the inventory. Once the shipment is delivered to the FC, we wait for 14 days from the delivery date of the shipment as by the end of 14 days period the units can be successfully updated in the inventory or may be early. This includes the process of unpacking, manifesting, scanning each unit received and updating your inventory.’

I understand that when using DPD, the many thousands of consignments inbound every day will be delivered to Amazon in one or several HGV trailers. These will be signed for as a whole but not necessarily opened and processed individually for several days. We have had repeated problems when using this carrier for FBA. We have learnt that when we use UPS the process is far quicker. They are treated as a preferential carrier and consignments are invariably processed within 48 hours and show as available for purchase soon after.
