FBA inventory disappeared

Hi all,

Need some help here… recently I sent 44 oversized item to FBA and everything went fine my pallet was accepted and it shows 44 units were received. Everything was going well until all of a sudden i noticed that my FBA listing was showing as out of stock but the inventory had 18 units available.

I spoke to seller support as the inventory had gone under “inventory error” under fix stranded inventory. To begin with they said the item could be under investigation or i need to refresh my listings.

So i refreshed my listings and contacted them again as nothing worked, all of a sudden there reply was you have no inventory remaining and you must send more units in and all of a sudden the 18 stranded units have disappeared. its now “0” under available.

so suspecting something was fishy I pulled up a business report on units sold using my FBA SKU for that item dating from when my shipment arrived to the current date. This shows only 22 out of the 44 sent units were sold and we have no unfulfillable inventory for this SKU.

im now stuck wondering where these remaining 22 units have disappeared to as they cost over £2000 as these are high value items.

any help on how I can investigate this further as SS are just telling me to add more inventory.
