Effective September 30, 2021: New unit count/Price Per Unit requirements for product listings
Starting September 30, 2021, in amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.it and amazon.es, we will require that all product listings for the Product Types listed in the table include the unit_count and unit_count_type attributes, which are used to calculate and display Price Per Unit (PPU).
After September 30, 2021, any new listings or updates to existing listings that are submitted without unit count information will no longer be accepted. This includes all product-level data submissions, whether through Excel templates, Seller Central or feeds.
Why are we requiring unit count/PPU information?
We are implementing these changes so that we can deliver the best customer experience by using complete, consistent and accurate PPU information that customers can use to compare and evaluate products during their shopping journey.
What unit count information is required?
You will need to submit unit count information, which includes value (unit_count; e.g. ‘5’) and type (unit_count_type; e.g. ‘count’, ‘gram’, ‘metre’, ‘millilitre’ or ‘square metre’).
For more information, refer to Price per unit requirements.

Does anyone know a way to remove these from certain brand registered ASINs?
We have various ASINs now displaying “£x per count” where it makes absolutely no sense to do so. It shows the price, and then the “price per count” (which is of course the same) in a large variation picker box. It’s actually a bad customer experience!

Hello I was hoping someone could help me - I am selling 1 novelty toilet paper in a box and I can’t get my listing complete due to an error message on net content count and (1) net content count unit - I have tried all of the options in the drop down menu and nothing seams to work. Amazon help never get back to you! would anyone know how I would get this sorted?
