Customer Basically Stealing

I know that we are expected to factor in customers who basically steal from you by pretending that their order hasn’t arrived or was damaged but is there anything that can be done about it?

I had a Prime order yesterday that was delivered today, there is a photo of the undamaged parcel in an open doorway, the customer has reported it as being damaged and has got an immediate refund and doesn’t have to return the product.

Surprise surprise they have blocked messages from sellers so they presumably make a habit of this. I know we have to expect this but it doesn’t make it any less annoying.

I knew it rang a bell - because I had asked the same question before. :joy:

Would it be best to put the reason as item not returned or buyer is lying about it being damaged?

I don’t know tbh - can you prove it’s not damaged ?
Did you see it unpackaged ?
