Order Packing Slip Barcode

Anyone know what the barcode on top of packing slip is for (next to order number).
Can it be used somehow to help with order processing.

Not quite sure what you are looking at. Our packing slips (printed directly from the order page) have never had barcodes on them. See below

It shows up when you print from Amazon Shipping - the packing slip looks like this…
