Late payment for Amazon sales

I sold a book on the 18th May, uploaded invoice and everything, why does it take so long for Amazon to let me have my money. I am not a new seller but don’t get many sales, maybe 2 or 3 a year. Thanks for your help.

Amazon generally hold onto your money until 2 weeks past the last estimated delivery date in case there are problems and they have to refund.
