Royal Mail Tracked 24/48 missing from Amazon Buy Shipping
Hi all,
We’re having an issue where Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 are not showing as options in Amazon Buy Shipping.
Our Royal Mail OBA is linked to Amazon and our Royal Mail account manager has checked the account and confirmed everything looks fine on the Royal Mail side.
Has anyone else had this issue recently?
If so:
Were Tracked 24/48 previously available and then disappeared?
Was the issue with Amazon rather than Royal Mail?
Did unlinking/relinking the Royal Mail OBA fix it?
Did Seller Support have to escalate it to a technical team?
Is there any particular service code or account setting Amazon needs to recognise for Tracked 24/48 to appear?
We can use Tracked 24/48 directly with Royal Mail, but we specifically need them available through Amazon Buy Shipping.
Any advice from anyone who has had the same problem would be appreciated.

Same issue with me. Had to book my orders in manually which has been a complete nightmare.

Hello, Sellers. I am following up on reports of issues with Royal Mail tracked options missing earlier this week.
I see that several sellers reported that the issue was temporary and was corrected.
I am checking to make sure any sellers aren't still seeing issues, or if they are having any problems as a result of the temporary downtime.
Thank you.

When Tracked 24/48 is greyed out then its often Amazon shipping automation thinking that those services will not be delivered on time.
Tracked 24/48 are actually prioritised by RM over 1st/2nd class parcels so you would think if 1st class is ok then Tracked 24 would be ok too (and similarly with 2nd class and Tracked 48) but Amazon rely on data we do not see and statistically there are still more 1st/2nd parcels sent than 24/48 so a blip in late delivery on 24/48 has a more significant effect. For example lets say a particular destination has 1000 1st class parcels going to it and 500 Tracked 24. If 100 of those parcels are delivered late then (in Amazon eyes) 10% 1st class were late and 20% Tracked 24 were late. As such Amazon then disables you from buying Tracked 24 as it perceives a delivery problem with that service.
This problem kept happening to me and when it happens you can buy the labels from C&D instead and upload the tracking numbers manually (or, like me, use Packing Partner to automate this). Its one of the reasons I no longer use Amazon Buy Shipping.

I've been having the same issue since 12th March!! Support have had me going in circles for months. They have admitted its an allow-listing issue and keep sending me updates
"thanks for your patience, were still working on it".
Its infuriating.
I have no words of advice unfortunately.
I've tried all the options support have given me and nothing has worked.
Good luck - let me know if you get any joy!

Hello @Seller_E6wnA0hBynbDB If you share a Case ID, I can ask our partner team to review the issue and check what next steps are available to you.
Update: I just saw this post:

Three different faults get reported here as one, and they don't share a fix.
A platform blip: the service vanishes for everyone for a few hours and comes back on its own.
Amazon's own filter: Buy Shipping hides a method when its on-time data for that service and route falls short. Far fewer parcels go tracked, so a handful of late deliveries moves the percentage much further. See Amazon's help page "Missing carrier or shipping method in Buy Shipping". Nothing on the Royal Mail side changes it.
Account-level allow-listing: Support confirms in writing that the ship method code isn't allow-listed for your account. It doesn't clear on its own and needs the Buy Shipping carrier-integration team, not Seller Support.
How to tell: missing for you but visible to sellers shipping from elsewhere, it's the filter. Support named the ship method code, it's allow-listing. It came back by itself, it was the blip.
