New vs Used Items
Hi
Most of my stock on Amazon consist of Used items which I have selling since 2013. Of late I am getting a lot of returns and feedback from customers saying the item they bought is supposed to be New. Is anyone else experiencing this? My listing clearly state Used - followed by the condition as per Amazon template but of late many customers don’t seem to notice this, some even end up reporting me to Amazon or leaving negative feedback. Does anyone know what may be causing this and how do I tackle this? Or maybe the condition doesn’t appear if they buy using a mobile phone? Am very confused…
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Are they the sort of items that you normally not expect to find being sold as ‘used’?
It’s probably down to the new listing format where Amazon suppresses condition comments in the ‘side-bar’ that pops up when you click on ‘see all used and new’ for a given ASIN in search results.
Similarly if you get the buybox for a used item, your condition notes will be hidden
Most of us who’ve commented on it regard it as stupid change that makes buying even more confusing than it already was.
