What does 'Reserved' mean on FBA

I’ve just started FBA last week
On my Inventory report there is a column called ‘Reserved’ and it has 8 units on it.
What does this mean?
Surely when someone buys my Stock - it is just a sale (I have also had 10 or so sales come through in this time and been notified)
Any insight welcome
Thanks
Mano

Reserve means a few things… stock that is unavailable for sale; can be due to customer order, inter-warehouse transfer or they lost the stock.

It is quite common as I found that my shipments all going to BHX2 atm and then get moved around once received; rather than like before we send to different warehouses directly. Just keep an eye on the reserve and if it has been more than a week, then chase SS for update.

What does it say when you click on the arrow beside it?

Usually it means that someone has it in their basket but not checked out or Amazon are waiting on payment clearing for the order. It could also mean that Amazon are moving the stock between warehouses.

Just run a “Reserved Inventory” report and it will tell you what the reserved units are.
